The 2019 Denmark Open (officially known as the Danisa Denmark Open 2019 for sponsorship reasons) is a badminton competition which is taking place at Odense Sports Park in Odense, Denmark from 15 to 20 October 2019. It has a total purse of $775,000. The 2019 Denmark Open is the sixteenth tournament of the 2019 BWF World Tour and also part of the Denmark Open championships, which have been held since 1935. This tournament is organized by Badminton Denmark with sanction from the BWF. This international tournament is held at Odense Sports Park in Odense, Denmark. The complex belongs to Municipality of Odense and contains various sports venues including the Odense Stadion. It also has seven swimming pools open for public use. The tournament started in 1935. It was interrupted by World War II and was on hiatus from 1955 through 1964. It seeks to draw the top players from around the World. The tournament is usually played in late October each year.
