Katie Miller or Katherine Rose Miller (Katie Waldman) is an American government appointee who has served as Press Secretary to the Vice President of the United States since October 1, 2019. Waldman was born October 4, 1991 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is the daughter of attorney Glenn Waldman and Sheryl Waldman (née Bekoff). Waldman attended the University of Florida and was active in the student government's Unite Party. In 2012, she was involved in a scandal concerning the destruction of hundreds of copies of the school's newspaper after it endorsed an opposing student government candidate. Waldman attended George Washington University, where she obtained a master's degree in public administration.
