Jordan Turner Orlando Missing Amber Alert

Orlando police said the 14-year-old who became the subject of an Amber Alert on Saturday has been found safe. Police said Jordan Turner texted a friend earlier in the day saying that she was forced into a small, dark gray or black four-door car by two men after she had left Shiloh Baptist Church on West Jackson Street. No one had heard from her for about two hours after the text, sparking a search and the issuing of an Amber Alert.

At about 8:15, she was found walking a couple blocks from her house, police said. She is in good health and her family has been notified. No suspects are being sought. Turner told police she made up the story about being kidnapped. Detectives are still investigating her whereabouts during the time frame she was missing.
