Biography Glenn The Walking DeadGlenn Rhee is a fictional character from the comic book series The Walking Dead and is portrayed by Steven Yeun in the AMC television series of the same name. He is also voiced by Nick Herman in the video game of the same name, by Telltale Games. In the comics, he was known simply as Glenn and was not given a last name. Glenn was Maggie's boyfriend-turned-husband, and takes the role of surrogate father to Sophia following the suicide of Carol, her biological mother. In the television series, he mentioned that his parents were Korean immigrants who lived in Michigan. He again becomes Maggie's boyfriend and later marries her.

Together they struggle to survive in and adapt to a world filled with zombies and some humans who are even more dangerous than the zombies themselves. The first season through to the first half of the fifth season are at first set within the Atlanta metro area and then the surrounding countryside. The second half of the fifth season mainly takes place in Alexandria, Virginia.
